Why DOConvert Is Gaining Ground in the Priority ERP Ecosystem

When Brent Wesler first reviewed DOConvert back in 2024, we were still early in the journey, a solid foundation, but a long roadmap ahead. Fast forward to today, and we’re proud to share just how far we’ve come. In his latest IDP review, Brent revisits DOConvert to see what’s changed, from feature rollouts to strategic integrations, and why we’re now considered one of the most agile players in a crowded Intelligent Document Processing market. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐈𝐃𝐏) 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 – 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐

I’m always excited to see startups that make it. In a very crowded #IDP market, with lots of me too products, I was lucky enough to meet CEO, Avi Rafalson with DOConvert in 2024 to explore what his team is building and why its different. At the time Doconvert was developed with basic functionality and while it was a viable product it needed a number of features to compete.

𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑼𝒑 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒗𝒊 – Fast forward to my recent interview with Avi, and many of the feature functionality gaps I identified were filled with their current Omer release.

𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔 – Most notably the new workspaces feature which allows use case or process specific “queues” to be created, allowing different ingestion points and data connections.

𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 – the addition of light approvals, with the associated dashboard queue to identify documents that need approval.

𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 – subscribe to reports that get emailed to the associated user daily, weekly or monthly. See the number of page credits, automation rates and process improvement.

𝑬𝑹𝑷 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 – But in my opinion, with so many IDP manufacturers in the market where Dan Lucarini from Deep Analysis is tracking 450+ players, the advice is always to find a niche and specialize. Yes easier said than done, but I was most impressed with Avi teams execution with Priority Software a large European based ERP system. While Docovert always had an Oracle integration and is making inroads into SAP, but so have many other IDP manufacturers. I very much like the bi-directional capabilities of Doconvert with Priority Software where not only can data be pulled into Doconvert to validate things like invoices, goods receipts, but it can also create orders. Moreover the ability to push and attach the physical PDF document to the Priority screen record allows customers with no #ECM to store documents.

𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 – While there are many IDP choices for the typical commercial buyer, if you use Priority Software, then Doconvert has a leg up with its very simplistic implementation of integration using flow mapping. With direct API accessibility to Priority, Doconvert uses the database column fields as variables within the document type flow mapping UI.

You can also tell when a company has momentum and good things are happening. Avi shared their 2025 Q1/Q2 revenue growth was 190% and 135% respectively. They have hired two new customer success team members and have open positions for back end developers. Clearly Doconvert is succeeding with a focus on EU and US markets.
